Re: Reunion/Gathering/Meeting Up/Last Ditch Effort to See Everyone Before Disappearing Into Some Part of the World
Hey guys, it seems like Joses and Zining are in the "Not Free" list now. Response from others please?
To those who have missed the earlier post, I'm proposing a gathering on 27/28 of this month. Dinner probably. Any ideas on what to do? Please confirm attendance too. Thanks. Really trying to get people interested in this.

I do wish Liverpool is out, more because I can't stand it if Liverpool wins and then gets to qualify for next season's Champions League over Everton, but also because AC Milan is just super
no everton is in regardless, so it'll be really fun to have both of em in so they can face each other in the finals. ac milan is a boring side that has a lot of luck in seeing off disciplined sides like psv.
wait. that sounds a lot like liverpool.

Oh really? So if Liverpool wins the Champions League what does that mean? England will have 2 teams that qualify and 3 teams in the play-offs? I thought that wasn't allowed anymore, that's why they'd allow Liverpool to take Everton's place in play-off qualification.
I'm no soccer purist, so I don't advocate interesting play over effective execution. Whoever wins wins, no matter how it's done, and that's what matters. That's why a "boring" but effective side like Greece triumphing over creative "entertaining" Portugal is ok for me, and I think people who blame such "unjustified" results on luck or bias are just bitter, because these factors always even out in the end.
